A little survey

Wanted to ask those of you who are parents, what is your child's favorite activity/toy? What occupies them for most of the day, that they like to do over and over? (It's okay to have several answers.) For example, Kaylin's really into books right now and we spend about 70% of our day reading. Of course, for her, the "reading" part only lasts for a very short time before she's up off my lap running to pick out a new book to read. And a lot of time she brings the same one. She also would spend all day outside and/or playing with water if I let her.

The reason I'm conducting this "survey" is to give me some ideas of things to do with Kaylin that she may really like, things that I haven't thought of before. Thanks for participating! :)

Sounds like fun! I need to take Kaylin to the park more often, especially since there's one across the street. She likes coloring and books and walks, and ramps, but hasn't been to keen on playdough. Thanks for the ideas!

Ohhhhh, jealous, a park across the street!!!!! Enjoy it while the weather is nice:). I forgot about this really cool toy that he and other kids seem to love...Magneato's. They're these magnetic balls and sticks that stick together, but they are big so they can't choke on them. I don't know where they sell them, but they are the best. I'm sure you can google them.

Coloring is Caedra's big thing all of the sudden. As well as drawing with chalk outside on the sidewalk (and on my chaise lounge). She loves to hide something and have me say, "Where's the ______?" then she pulls it out and we say, "There it is!" Also exploring the outdoors, especially finding rocks and drawing in the dirt with a stick. Running. She has a leap frog toy that sings songs about all the letters, she plays with that a lot. That's our big list.
